When should I send test scores to colleges?
The best time to send SAT, ACT and/or SAT subject test scores is about a month before the application deadline (in the case of rolling admissions, the scores should go out about a month or so before the application is submitted).

If you have already taken your college placement tests, written your essays, and taken care of the other steps necessary in the admissions process, ahead of your peers, then early action or early decision is definitely worth it for you.

If your SAT score falls near or above the 75th percentile for the college, you should definitely submit it. You have absolutely nothing to lose in that case — your SAT score adds another layer that benefits your application.
